Smartphones have opened up an whole new world for people who like to communicate and socialize. Everyone likes free stuff — isn’t that what the holidays are all about? Now Apple is offering free iPhone and iPad apps with its 12 Days of Christmas app.
It offers users a free downloadable gift, one per day for 12 straight days, starting on December 26th. The app is already available for download in the iTunes app store, so go check it out.
Apple has not revealed what the gifts will be, but you can be sure they will be pretty good. I would expect a movie, some music, probably some good games, and more. It is Christmas, and Cupertino is in a giving mood.
It should be noted that the content of some of the gifts may be offensive to certain people. According to The Inquirer, we can expect, “Infrequent/Mild Cartoon or Fantasy Violence, Infrequent/Mild Sexual Content or Nudity, Infrequent/Mild Alcohol, Tobacco, or Drug Use or References, Infrequent/Mild Profanity or Crude Humor, Infrequent/Mild Mature/Suggestive Themes, and Infrequent/Mild Horror/Fear Themes.”
Or, this could just be standard legal boilerplate. But this app is geared more for the adults than the children, so keep that in mind.
Go check out the app now, and get ready for your 12 free downloadable gifts. Merry Christmas!
