Getting your degree is always a great idea, no matter how old you are. There is no time like the present to start college for the first time, or to jump back in and finish after years of being away. Online colleges are as popular as ever, and can be a great way to get your degree — while hanging onto a job and a life.
You want to find the best online college available — one that suits your degree needs, allows for certain class times, and is worth the investment of time and tuition.
DegreeJungle.com just released their list of the best online colleges around the nation. This is the most comprehensive and complete list they have ever released.
How Are Online Colleges Ranked?
According to their website, the eight metrics included in our ranking are net price of attendance, acceptance rate, retention rates, graduation rates, student-to-faculty ratios, percentage receiving grants or scholarship aid, percentage receiving federal student loans, and cohort default rates. Also, schools must offer multiple four-year online bachelor’s degree programs, and be accredited and included in the US Department of Education College Navigator database.
