Perhaps the only thing worse than the ignorance and arrogance of Biden administration officials is their utter lack of caring about the suffering of the American people. Like most people in the political class, Biden administration officials have grown up in cushy suburbs, only cavort with similarly-educated people, and have no idea what the reality of life is like for the average American. And because they don’t understand and can’t empathize with Americans, they don’t really care how much you are suffering.
Biden himself sets the tone for the administration, by telling Americans that they should be prepared to pay high prices for gas for “as long as it takes.” And that attitude trickles down to every one of his underlings.
Director of the National Economic Council Brian Deese recently was asked what he would say to American families who can’t afford to pay nearly $5 a gallon for gas for years. His answer? “This is about the future of the liberal world order and we have to stand firm.”
So there you have it. You don’t matter. You’re just a cog in the machine, a peon to be preyed upon by a government that wants your tax dollars but doesn’t want to give you anything in return. And if you’re suffering as a result of misguided government policies, well, too bad. Suck it up.
Is it any wonder, with an attitude like that, that so many people are predicting a red wave this November?
The utter contempt with which Biden administration officials view Americans is nothing short of disgusting, but it isn’t surprising. They never learned anything from Trump’s term as President, and never realized that a significant portion of the country is tired of being lectured, harassed, and dictated to by arrogant, condescending know-it-alls in Washington.
But while a red wave may be all but certain, will Republicans actually do what they need to do to stop Biden’s destruction of this country? And if they are able to, will it be too little, too late? For the sake of our future, let’s hope not.
