According to court officials, President Trump is set to be arraigned tomorrow (Tuesday Apr 4th) following his indictment in New York City. Now, GOP leaders are speaking out in defense of the 2024 presidential nominee.
Senator Rand Paul, a Republican from Kentucky, called it a “disgusting abuse of power.”
He even suggested that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, a George Soros funded DA who is reportedly planning to indict Trump, should be “put in jail.”
Harvard Law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz (a liberal, by the way) stated the latest attack on Trump is ‘one of the most serious violations of the rule of law’ he’s ever seen.
He said, “In 60 years of practicing criminal law, I have never seen a worse abuse of prosecutorial discretion.”
Even Nickie Haley, Trump’s opponent for the Republican Presidential Candidate, said it was “more about revenge than it is about justice.”
Reportedly, the charges against Trump would be related to a $130,000 payment made by his former lawyer Michael Cohen to adult film actress Stormy Daniels, to keep her from speaking about an alleged sexual encounter with Trump in 2006 during the 2016 presidential campaign.
A Manhattan grand jury has been meeting for several weeks to decide whether Trump should be indicted for his involvement in the hush money payment. Trump has denied any wrongdoing and criticized the Manhattan district attorney’s investigation as politically motivated, while continuing to host events around the country.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is allegedly one of the handful of District Attorneys supported by George Soros who are wreaking havoc on cities across the country.
As reported on by Fox News…
“Far-left billionaire George Soros funneled $40 million into district attorney campaigns nationwide, and now his beneficiaries represent around 20% of Americans.”
Soros collaborates with an activist attorney and channels funds through a complex network of federal and state political action committees and non-profit organizations located throughout the country, as per public records.
Other district attorneys he has helped grab the reins of power include George Gascon in Los Angeles, who has helped fuel the recent rise in crime; Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner, Loudoun County DA Buta Biberaj; and Cook County DA Kim Foxx.
Of course, the biggest candidate he shoved down the American people’s throat was San Francisco DA Chesa Boudin, whose parents were members of the Weather Underground domestic terrorist group. He was voted out of office after the rise in violent crime was too much for even the liberals in San Francisco.
